Meet Your Instructor

My name is Jovon Miller and "Teaching Life Through Dance" isn't just a motto; it's my mission

My background in music and collaboration with renowned artists has shaped my philosophy that dance is about making music with the body. With precision and an unrelenting commitment to excellence, I guide students to achieve their big and ambitious dance goals through small, realistic steps. Being down to Earth and honest to a fault, I build connections with my students, holding them accountable while nurturing their growth.

I believe in learning from mistakes and transforming them into valuable lessons. My aim is to revolutionize my industry, evolve the way we teach tap dance and its history, and build a community of like-minded people who share my vision for the future.

In the short term, I seek to reach and uplift as many people as possible. In the long run, I aspire to create an empire focused on the right way to teach, raise, and train the younger generations, standing up for what's right and propelling humanity forward.

Why this course is special: I've spent years refining how to teach tap, creating a new system and methodology that offers YOU an astonishing in-depth look at each move, combination, dance, and song. This course will also be part lecture, allowing you to dive deeper into various subjects, ask questions, and gain invaluable context.

My approach is about building up students to have practical skills. I'm proficient in creating small, achievable goals to bridge bigger and more ambitious dance goals, and I'm there for you, guiding and coaching you towards your dream.

Frequently Asked Questions

What skill level is this program for?

Beginner dancers looking for a serious Rhythmical knowledge.
Intermediate Dancers that want to increase their dance vocabulary and evolve as dancers.
Advanced non-tap dancers that want to improve their musciality and rhythmic creativity

How long do I have access to the program & when does it start?

180 days from the start of the course. Lifetime access is availbale at an extra charge.

Can't I learn all of this on Youtube?

No, you cannot. You will not find a course this complete, and would take you years to gather this kind of information and you will still have to come to your own conclusions anyway.

Do I need to have Tap Shoes before starting?

No tap shoes necessary.

Any close-toed shoe is perfectly fine. Leather sole dress shoes work the best. Rubber sole shoes are also fine, but are slightly tricker.

Should I invest in decent tap shoes?

Having great tap shoes feels great, but really your feet are the tools (like a drum stick), and your instrument is the floor (like a drum). The only difference is, if you do not have tap shoes, you can't hear your rhythm as well.

I guarantee you this course will be transformative for you and your dancing.
